Because SO many viewers have suggested shooting concrete shotgun slugs, we decided to give it a try. We create a hybrid cut-shell/wax slug type slug. The light tail of the cut-shell is supposed to stabilize the slug in flight. Because shooting THESE slugs forward would cause the concrete slug inside to slide back and be destroyed by the inertia, we loaded these slugs backwards.
Does using a binder that is “stronger” than wax make the slug better? Not really, because it isn’t the binder that makes a wax-type slug strong in the first place!
